Mabel, a long time Sacramento resident, was SVACCD member and sister of Buel Glover (SVACCD Honor of the Year - 1999). She was formerly Bay Area printer for many years. Also, an avid bowler.
Passed away January 4, 2007 at the age of 76 in Sacramento, CA. Born August 11, 1930 in Star City, Arkansas. She is survived by her loving husband Kenneth Schmidt of 26 years, son Paul Jones of Georgia, step daughters Kenene of Southern California and Kema of Denmark, also 3 brothers and sisters of Arkansas and Texas. She was employed by the Oakland Tribune for 25 years. She will be greatly missed.
